Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers regarding the application and performance of Alkegens products. Address customer inquiries and resolve technical issues effectively. Product Development: Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to assist in the development and optimization of new products based on customer feedback and market needs. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, conducting presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and applications of Alkegen’s materials. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for product improvement and new applications. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product capabilities and market positioning. Provide technical insights to support sales strategies. Training and Education: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for customers and internal teams to enhance understanding of product applications and technical specifications. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, specifications, and case studies to support customer engagement and product development. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. Experience in Refractories & Insulation is required. Experience in working 2D/3D design & drafting software will be preferred. 5+ years of experience in application engineering or a related technical field, preferably within the advanced materials or manufacturing industries. The sales knowledge will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of materials properties and engineering principles related to product applications. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. Proficient in technical documentation and software tools relevant to engineering and project management.
