Run and manage
hybrid additive manufacturing systems
integrated with
Laser Wire DED heads
.
Perform
precision machining
on printed parts and post-processing operations.
Handle
machine calibration, leveling, backlash detection
, and
accuracy verification tests
.
Integrate, program, and simulate
5-axis tool paths
using
Mastercam
software.
Conduct toolpath optimization for both
printing and subtractive operations
.
Execute
routine maintenance and diagnostic checks
for hybrid systems.
Coordinate with R&D and design teams to iterate on part development.
Ensure safety protocols and process consistency in a shop-floor environment.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of hands-on experience
in CNC machining and programming.
Strong proficiency in operating and programming
5-axis CNC machines
.
Working knowledge of
calibration and precision testing
techniques.
Proficiency in
Mastercam
for toolpath generation and simulation.
Familiarity with
G-code, M-code
, and custom post-processor modification.
Added advantage: Exposure to industrial
robots
like
Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB
.
Experience in working with
metal AM systems
, especially
laser-based DED
.
Sound understanding of
mechanical tolerances, fixture setup, and coordinate systems
.
Excellent troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
