Job Description

  • Deliver IT Services in support of the US Value and Access business teams. The key focus area for this role is reporting / dashboard / visualization delivery for all the US Value and Access, Data Analytics and Commercial Finance teams.
  • The incumbent will perform development in Tableau while ensuring best practices in data extraction and cleansing and data visualization and demonstrate strong analytical ability to bring valuable insights to business users.
  • The Application Developer will also deliver, and/or support the delivery of, projects/initiatives related to the Value and Access domain, resolve operational issues, ensure the application s integrity and availability to sustain day-to-day operations with a focus on the application s interfaces and integrations.
  • Additionally, the incumbent will develop effective working relationships with the business, and be expected to work with the business to reengineer business processes and manage change into the organization.

How you'll spend your day

  • Technical Delivery: Serve as the Technical and Subject Matter Expert responsible for solutions delivery and support of Value and Access solutions and systems interfaces. Lead technical design and requirements gathering.
  • Develop technical documents and provide architectural recommendations and design guidance across Value and Access solutions and technologies, ensuring solutions are sustainable and meet technical standards.
  • Develop Business Relationships: Create effective relationships with business stakeholders to ensure expectation management and alignment of team priorities with the business.
  • Create Value: Work with the business and IT management to identify areas of opportunity/need, and then develop them into initiatives that deliver measureable value. Maintain current knowledge of industry and business process trends and influence business leaders in defining business process optimizations with a focus towards efficiency, automation and innovation. Apply industry best practice thinking, waterfall and agile methodologies, and other innovation/continuous improvement techniques to make measurable improvements to our business.
  • IT Improvement and Innovation: As an IT individual contributor, the incumbent is expected to contribute independent ideas, proposals, and projects for improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of IT at Teva.
  • Sustain Operations: Support the business stakeholders in their day-to-day operations providing the highest levels of service and maintaining a stable operating environment. Coordinate with infrastructure, IT Security and other internal, IT support functions to maintain system stability while minimizing business impact of routine and non-routine IT maintenance activities. Work to resolve issues and ensure the application s integrity and availability to sustain day to day operations with a focus on the application s interfaces.
  • Follow Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
    Other projects and duties as required / assigned

Your experience and qualifications

  • Must have a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
  • 7+ years experience working as a front end or full stack developer with experience in Tableau
  • Experience with IT in Pharma preferred.
  • Strong experience as a subject matter expert in Tableau report design, development and data visualization required
  • Experience working with commercial pharmaceutical data (IQVIA, MMIT, Fingertip, Medicaid, Patient Data, etc ) preferred
  • Understanding of the Data warehouse life cycle from ETL to multidimensional models and reporting preferred
  • Ability to create ETL specifications, unit, and system integration test cases
  • Proficiency in the use of query and reporting analysis tools
  • Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc )
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environment preferred
  • Experience working in global cross functional teams preferred
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling and database design principles preferred
  • Must possess Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess good communication skills and be able to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
