Application Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. You will be responsible for defining architectural standards, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring successful integration across solution, application, and data layers. Key Responsibilities: Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications including integration, APIs, and user experience. Define architecture principles, standards , and governance for solution, application, and data architecture. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Evaluate and select the right technology stack and tools ( Java/.NET, Microservices, Cloud, Data platforms , etc.) Lead the design of scalable application components , services, and databases aligned with business goals. Ensure alignment with security, compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), and performance requirements. Create and maintain architecture documentation (HLD, LLD, diagrams, etc.). Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring best practices in software design and data management. Collaborate with Data Architects and DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, and data pipelines. Conduct architecture reviews , identify technical debt, and propose improvements. Required Skills: Strong experience in Enterprise Application Architecture using technologies like: Java/Spring Boot , js React/Angular/Vue for frontend RESTful APIs , GraphQL RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) Cloud platforms: GCP , AWS or Azure Experience in Microservices , Serverless , Event-driven architecture Good understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps) Familiarity with data architecture , ETL , data lakes , data governance Proficient in design patterns , UML , and architecture modeling tools Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills Preferred Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect Certification TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification Scrum/Agile framework knowledge
