Description
As an IT Support Specialist focusing on Mac systems, your main role will include providing technical support for Mac hardware and software. This involves diagnosing and resolving issues related to macOS, applications, and network connectivity. You will also be responsible for setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Mac systems and peripherals. Additionally, you will perform regular system updates, patches, and backups, monitor system performance, and ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing first and second-level support for Mac hardware and software issues - Diagnosing and resolving issues related to macOS, applications, and network connectivity - Assisting with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Mac systems and peripherals - Performing regular system updates, patches, and backups - Monitoring system performance and recommending improvements - Ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures - Providing end-user training and guidance on best practices for Mac usage - Assisting users with software installations, upgrades, and configuration - Documenting user issues and resolutions in a ticketing system - Working closely with other IT support staff to address complex issues - Collaborating with vendors and third-party support when necessary - Participating in projects related to Mac system upgrades or deployments - Maintaining accurate records of support requests and resolutions - Preparing reports on system performance and incident metrics - Creating and updating technical documentation and knowledge base articles - Ensuring that Mac systems are secure and adhere to company security policies - Conducting regular audits and vulnerability assessments on Mac systems Your qualifications should include: - BE / B Tech or Graduate with a minimum of 3 years of IT Diploma - Experience in an IT Mac Support role for 3 years - Knowledge and experience in MAC & Apple Device Support - Bachelor's degree preferred - MCSE certification preferred In addition to your responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and provident fund.
