About the Role

Appian Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement
Appian BPM
applications.
Create
process models
,
interfaces
,
integrations
, and
record types
within Appian
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate Appian applications with external systems using
REST/SOAP APIs
and
databases
.
Apply
Appian best practices
, design patterns, and performance tuning.
Perform unit testing, participate in system testing and UAT support.
Ensure documentation of technical solutions, design decisions, and data flow.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Appian BPM development.
Strong knowledge of
Appian 20.x or higher
.
Hands-on experience with
Appian SAIL
,
expression rules
,
interfaces
, and
process models
.
Experience working with
integrations (REST, SOAP, RDBMS)
.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in
Agile/Scrum
environments.
Prior experience in the insurance domain is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification.
Experience with
CI/CD tools
and
DevOps practices
.
Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
