Job Description

You will be joining Persistent, an AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering and Enterprise Modernization partner. As an Appian developer at Persistent, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enhancements and defect fixes. You will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and software testers to create solutions that meet quality standards and stakeholder needs. Your key tasks will involve developing and implementing Appian and web-based applications, providing technical guidance to mid-level developers, translating business requirements into technical designs, mapping and loading data from source systems to the data warehouse, building critical Appian-based applications, and integrating with other COTS products. You will also be responsible for problem-solving, estimating Appian business requirements, and debugging issues in interfaces and process models. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Additionally, you should be Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certified, proficient in at least one major programming language, experienced in building sites and complex SAIL forms, and capable of integrating multiple external systems. Understanding the differences between REST, SOAP, and basic design principles in web services integration is also essential. Furthermore, you should possess the ability to scope Appian projects and lead a team of distributed engineers.
