Job Description

Role Overview: As an Apigee Developer, you will be responsible for developing API Proxies in adherence to API Specifications and standards for the API Platform. You will play a crucial role in challenging designs for efficiencies and errors to ensure the best-delivered product. Additionally, you will communicate any necessary changes to the architecture team and ensure that proxy code is thoroughly tested with pre-developed test scripts before advancing into higher environments. Key Responsibilities: - Build APIs and Proxies following specifications and organizational standards. - Understand the business value context and contribute to API specifications. - Take ownership of the product and be invested in its success. - Assist in defining comprehensive test scripts before commencing work. Qualifications Required: - Experience in API Security, API Key Validation, Protection against Content-based Attacks, Authentication, Authorization and Identity, Traffic Management, Token Management. - Proficiency in designing and implementing Restful API design patterns. - Familiarity with Evangelizing API adoption. - Experience in Scrum-based delivery and DevOps. - Hands-on experience working on APIGEE Edge, including the creation and configuration of API proxies. - Knowledge of API implementation and lifecycle management.
