Qualification: Any Technical Degree

Roles & Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain API proxies using Apigee Edge/X/Hybrid, applying reusable policies for traffic management, security, transformation, caching, and mediation.

Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs, including SOAP-to-REST conversions, API versioning, and governance practices.

Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, SAML, and SSL/TLS within Apigee policy layers.

Manage the API lifecycle, including developer portal setup, access controls, rate limiting, and monetization configurations.

Monitor and optimize API performance using tools such as Apigee Analytics, Splunk, ELK, and gateway logs.

Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Apigee Deployment Manager.

Develop custom policies and callouts using JavaScript, Java, Node.js, or Python for enhanced gateway logic.

Deploy and manage Apigee environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Create and maintain API documentation, including OpenAPI/Swagger specs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and implementing API solutions with Apigee.

Strong knowledge of API security protocols and best practices.

Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD workflows.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment models.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
