API Tester-Python/Remote

🔍 QA Engineer Remote | 3 Months Contract

Commitment: Full-time (40 hrs/week) with at least 4 hrs/day overlap with PST

Start Date: Immediate

What You'll Do

-Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and automation scripts for APIs and backend services.

-Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of FastAPI services.

-Collaborate closely with developers and ML engineers to identify and resolve issues early.

-Build test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and testing.

-Validate simulation environments and data pipelines that support reinforcement learning tasks.

-Document test results, track issues, and ensure timely resolutions

Requirements

-3–6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation

-Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, PyTest, or equivalent frameworks.

-Strong Python skills for writing automation scripts.

-Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous workflows, and microservices testing.

-Bonus: Exposure to RL environments (e.g., Gym, Gymnasium) or ML/AI pipelines.

-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
