Job Description

Job Summary:

API Integration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Lead
end-to-end API integrations
between enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and cloud services.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot
REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT/XPath transformations
, and middleware solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, vendors, IT support) to design and optimize integration workflows.
Provide
technical support
for API-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of integrated systems.
Document integration processes, including data mappings, error handling, and API specifications.
Monitor and resolve integration failures, ensuring compliance with SLAs.

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years in
API integration, implementation, or technical support
(not software development).
Hands-on experience with:

XML, XSLT, XPath
, and API data formats (JSON, SOAP, REST).
Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, TIBCO, IBM IIB) or custom API solutions.
Troubleshooting tools (Postman, SoapUI, Splunk, etc.).

Strong understanding of
authentication protocols
(OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS).
Experience in
supporting integrations
for SaaS, ERP, or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration specs.

: No expectation to write software (e.g., Java/Python).
Must have
support/implementation background
(not pure development).
