Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX from conception to deployment. This includes creating pages, reports, forms, interactive grids, and other UI components.
• Proven experience in Oracle APEX development, including recent releases.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into technical specifications and effective APEX solutions.
• Strong business analysis and communication skills.
• Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL and PL/SQL code to support APEX applications, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL is essential.
• Develop and customize user interfaces using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to enhance application interactivity and user experience.
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like Oracle JET is a plus.
• Integrate APEX applications with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Understanding of database interconnectivity and data transfer methods is crucial.
• Perform thorough testing (unit, integration, regression, UAT) of APEX applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Should have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Optimize APEX application performance, including SQL query tuning and page load time reduction.
• Maintain and enforce APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript development standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical and user documentation for developed applications.
