Animal Welfare Supervisor

·       Oversee the daily operations at the shelter, ensuring the well-being of the animals, and managing shelter staff. ·       Staff Supervision and Training: Leading and training shelter staff and volunteers/interns in animal care, shelter policies, and safety procedures. ·       Animal Care Management: Ensuring proper feeding, grooming, and medical care for all animals. ·       Facility Maintenance: Maintenance of shelter facilities, including kennels and common areas which fall under the regular hygiene standards. ·       Adoption management: Managing adoption processes. ·       Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of animal intake, health status, and adoption outcomes. ·       Public Relations and Community Outreach: Engaging with the community to promote shelter services, educate the public on animal welfare, and coordinate adoption events. ·       Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to local and state Government regulations related to animal care and shelter operations.
