As a Front-End Developer, your role involves delivering a complete front-end application that ensures high performance on both mobile and desktop platforms. Your primary tasks include: - Writing tested, idiomatic, and well-documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code - Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, HTML coder, and yourself - Cooperating with the back-end developer in building the RESTful API - Communicating with external web services to enhance the application's functionality To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML5 - Professional communication skills - Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices - Expertise in CSS and JavaScript methods for performant visual effects - Understanding of platform responsibilities, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other web services - Experience with front-end operations like creating XHRs and utilizing custom wrappers around $resource - Familiarity with building infrastructure for serving front-end applications and automating the production build process - Ability to document code using JSDoc or other conventions, write unit tests, and create e2e test suites for all components In summary, your responsibilities as a Front-End Developer include developing robust front-end applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience across different platforms.
