As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for delivering a complete front-end application that ensures high performance on both mobile and desktop platforms. Your primary tasks will include writing tested, idiomatic, and well-documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code. You will also play a key role in coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, HTML coder, and yourself, while cooperating with the back-end developer in building the RESTful API. Additionally, your role will involve communicating with external web services to enhance the functionality of the application. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in JavaScript and HTML5, along with professional communication skills. Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices, including creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components, is essential. You should be able to maintain a clear dependency chain within the application logic and file system, as well as provide SEO solutions for single-page apps. Furthermore, you must have extensive expertise in CSS and JavaScript methods to deliver performant visual effects and maintain a high framerate. A thorough understanding of platform responsibilities, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other web services used in the system is crucial. Your responsibilities will also include validating user actions on the client side, writing non-blocking code, and implementing advanced techniques such as multi-threading when necessary. Experience with various front-end operations, from creating XHRs in vanilla JavaScript to utilizing custom wrappers around $resource, is highly valued. You should be familiar with building infrastructure for serving front-end applications and assets, as well as automating the production build process using task runners or scripts. Documenting code using JSDoc or other conventions, writing extensive unit tests, and creating e2e test suites for all components are also part of your role.
