Android Lead

We are looking for a skilled Android Lead with 8 to 14 years of experience in the IT Software - Client Server industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise on the Android device platform and proficiency in Kotlin.

• Implement robust and efficient solutions using Android SDK, custom UI development, and other relevant technologies.
• Suggest technical solutions for short-term and long-term projects, leveraging expertise in Android/Java code development.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android/Java code.
• Debug issues and provide support to subordinates, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare technical specifications and ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Ensure identification and correction of bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Design and develop high-quality code, participate in code reviews, and mentor less-skilled employees.
• Interact with stakeholders (internal and external) to support product releases and resolve program problems.
• Research and stay informed of new technology and development tools.

• Strong technical expertise on the Android device platform, including custom UI development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
• Experience with design patterns such as MVP, MMVM, RxJava, and others.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, NDK, Android Studio, Gradle, Lint, and handling various screen sizes.
• Strong knowledge of JAVA and OOPS concepts.
• Good knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Performance Profiling Tools available in Android.
• Knowledge of Junit and other unit testing concepts.
• Must be familiar with Flutter and iOS development.
• Educational qualifications: B.C.A, B.E, M.C.A, M.Tech.
