Android Lead

We are looking for a skilled Android Lead with 8 to 14 years of experience to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise on the Android device platform and proficiency in Kotlin.

• Implement robust and efficient solutions for short-term and long-term projects.
• Design, build, and integrate Android libraries and modules.
• Develop high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android/Java code.
• Debug and resolve issues faced by subordinates.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and across groups to prepare technical specifications.
• Test, debug, analyze, and fix application problems/issues, while also participating in code reviews according to program specifications and coding standards.
• Mentor less-skilled employees and interact with stakeholders (internal and external) to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
• Research and stay informed of new technology and development tools.

• Strong technical expertise on the Android device platform and custom UI development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and knowledge of design patterns like MVP, MMVM, RxJava, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, NDK, Android Studio, Gradle, Lint, and handling various screen sizes.
• Good knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Performance Profiling Tools available in Android.
• Knowledge of Junit and other unit testing concepts.
• Must be familiar with Github/Bitbucket.
• A B.E or M.Tech degree is required.
