Android Framework Developer

You will be responsible for tuning the Android framework for IVI products. Your main duties will involve implementing the Android Framework and Application using Java, developing test tools and conducting unit testing. You will also be expected to perform structured root-cause analysis on tuner defects and apply targeted fixes. Additionally, familiarity with implementing Tuner components in the Android HAL layer using C++ and creating Tuner Driver Libraries for AMFM/DAB/SDARS/HD in C++ would be beneficial. To excel in this role, you should have a strong coding background in Java and C++, with experience in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and the Android operating system. Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and proficiency in GIT are also essential. Your technical capabilities should include expertise in C/C++, Java, audio source management, audio source routing, device drivers, communication protocols, and OS-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess 4-8 years of relevant experience in the field. Occasional travel may be required for this position.
