Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java and the Android SDK.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate mobile applications with backend services.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across device types.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and crashes.
• Implement modern development best practices, including MVVM/MVP/MVI architectures.
• Maintain code quality through testing, CI/CD, and code review processes.
• Stay current with new mobile technologies, trends, and frameworks.
• Publish and maintain apps in the Google Play Store.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Android Developer (or mobile development experience).
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android Jetpack, UI components, Material Design, and architecture patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SQLite / Room, Firebase, or other mobile databases.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Dagger/Hilt, or Koin.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Experience with Play Store release process, app signing, and performance analytics.
• Familiarity with Flutter, React Native, or cross-platform development is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
