Analytical Chemist

Overview:

We are seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our team to perform a wide range of tasks related to the analysis of Environment Samples (Waste water, Fresh water, Air Soil and Noise) Pollution. The ideal candidate will have experience with various analytical techniques and instruments, as well as a strong understanding of chemistry and (GMP/GLP) laboratory best practices. This role requires a good Communication and managing laboratory environment and ensuring high-quality analytical testing, Also requires detail-oriented methodical professional who can ensure that the team follows a CPCB/ NABL accreditation ensures that laboratories meet specific international standards for testing and calibration. Ensure the laboratory’s commitment to quality, reliability, and the competence of its testing and calibration activities. And meet all required quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantitative analysis of Environment samples using various techniques such as Spectroscopy (UV-Vis) colorimetry, flash photometry, chromatography (HPLC/ ION ), and titration.
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods and procedures to ensure accurate and precise results.
• Perform routine and non-routine testing and provide data analysis and interpretation to support research, development, and production processes.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure proper functionality.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including test methods, validation protocols, reports, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CPCB, NABL,ISO,APHA etc..) and internal quality assurance policies.
• Preparation off and knowledge related to QA/QC/regulatory documents.
• Collaborate with other functional teams, QA/QC and develop a good QMS and address issues related to testing, Sop’s/STP’s, Change control and keeping records for all inventory of samples and raw results.
• Participate in laboratory safety and training programs, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Keep up to date with Laboratory developments, trends, and new technologies, Procedures in analytical chemistry.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry.
• Proven experience in a laboratory setting, with proficiency in analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, spectroscopy, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, software, and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in method development and validation.
• Experience with regulatory submissions or industry-specific quality requirements.
• Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of equipment knowledge used in testing, or environmental testing standards.
• Follow safety protocols in Laboratory and maintaining good Environment with appropriate safety protocols and safety equipment in place.
