Analyst-Trade Accounting and Operations

As an Analyst in the Financial Operations group at Arcesium, you will be responsible for various post-trade activities, supporting global operations. You will have the opportunity to work in one of the following sub-departments: - Trade Accounting and Operation: Handling fund accounting, position and cash reconciliation, resolving trade and settlement issues, and providing business analysis for firm wide SIP initiatives. - Middle Office: Managing Securities and Transaction Management, Asset Servicing, Corporate Action management, Reference, and Static data management across various asset classes. - Treasury: Overseeing liquidity management, margin related movements, and optimizing financing arrangements. - Pricing: Building valuation tools, providing valuation for the firm's investments, reconciling and analyzing price differences between Arcesium's platform and Admin/Street. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: - Developing a thorough understanding of Arcesium's platform, various asset classes, and market standards supporting post-trade life cycle management. - Being accountable for daily and monthly processes related to trade and security management, reconciliations, and margin management. - Collaborating with internal and external counterparts for issue resolution and supporting various processes throughout the investment life cycle. - Ensuring all activities are accurately captured and making appropriate adjustments when necessary. - Collaborating with technology teams on special projects, bespoke reporting requirements, and UAT of new functionalities. To excel in this role, you will need: - A Postgraduate/Professional degree (CA, CPA) and/or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude. - Ability to support clients across different time zones. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure, take on additional responsibilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel. - Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python will be a significant advantage.
