Analyst Supply Chain

As a Merchandising Logistics Management (MLM) Analyst at Lowes, your role revolves around enhancing inbound flow from suppliers to distribution centers and stores through the use of advanced analytics. You will collaborate with various teams, assess inventory depth and flow timing, support reset activities, identify business risks and opportunities, and implement channel and flow strategies. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to analyze data, derive actionable insights, and determine optimal case pack quantities to minimize excess inventory. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with Supply Chain Planning, Network Optimization, Transportation, and DC Ops teams - Evaluating inventory depth and flow timing of freight - Supporting reset activities, seasonal build entry/exit, and promotions - Identifying and mitigating business risks and opportunities - Anticipating changes in business trends and proactively addressing them - Coordinating cross-functional business meetings - Extracting data, conducting analysis, and generating business insights - Implementing channel and flow strategies to enhance business value - Defining optimal case pack quantities to reduce excess inventory To thrive in this role, you are required to possess: - A minimum of 3 years of overall experience - 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management - 3+ years" experience in project management Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a Related Field Primary Skills: - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Strong writing and communication skills - Proficiency in Merchandising decision-making tools - Familiarity with Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Transportation processes and systems Secondary Skills: - Experience in Data mining and visualization tools like Power BI, SQL, MS Access, and Excel Lowes is a FORTUNE 100 home improvement company that caters to millions of customers in the United States.
