Analyst - Supply Chain

As a Supply Chain Analytics & Digitalization Analyst at Elanco, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics and digital technologies to optimize supply chain operations and drive business growth. Your primary focus will be on utilizing advanced analytics techniques, implementing digital solutions, and providing insights to enhance supply chain efficiency and overall performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that will elevate the organization's supply chain capabilities. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Affiliate Demand Managers and Regional Supply Chain Leaders on statistical forecasting to ensure accurate baseline sales forecasts are developed and updated in line with the planning calendar. You will be responsible for administering and updating forecast models, maintaining SKU data, and reviewing affiliate Business Intelligence inputs to the forecast. By leveraging multiple data sources, such as ex-factory sales and global market trends, you will generate insights to drive improvements in forecast accuracy. In addition to statistical forecasting, you will also focus on supply chain visualization solutions like Power BI and Power Query, working on digital transformation projects to streamline operations and automate manual processes. Managing cross-functional programs and projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and risk are effectively managed. To excel in this role, you are required to have a University Degree/Diploma in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Supply Chain. An MBA and certification in Supply Chain are preferred. You should possess excellent analytical and numerate abilities, with a strong knowledge of statistics, along with the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a multifunctional team. Proficiency in managing and interpreting large data sets, understanding ERP software and Excel, and fluency in written and spoken English are essential. Desired skills for this role include experience in Power BI and Power Query design, deep MS Excel proficiency, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and knowledge of statistical methods and mathematical functions. Soft skills such as a track record of cross-cultural collaboration, willingness to work across different time zones, and experience in successful continuous improvement projects in times of supply chain transformation will be beneficial. Additionally, the ability to interact with executive-level management, summarize complex analyses effectively, and present findings clearly are crucial for success in this role.,
