Analyst / Senior Analyst – Power Systems Study

Role Overview

• Assist the Project Engineering team in conducting electrical studies for renewable energy facilities, focusing on system-level design
• Create, develop, and validate reports/studies including interconnection agreements, short circuit, reactive power/load flow, arc flash, dynamic, harmonic, and ampacity analyses
• Review IFC electrical studies from project EOR
• Establish study templates, methodologies, and best practices for the electrical system studies team
• Collaborate with detailed design teams on optimizing electrical power systems, control & relaying schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, conduit & cable sizing/routing, grounding design, and equipment specifications
  

Required Skills

Who We Are Looking For

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or M.Tech in Renewable/Solar Energy/Power Systems with 2+ years relevant experience in utility-scale power projects
• Proficiency with NEC70 codes for utility-scale projects
• Ability to communicate conclusions clearly via well-structured reports and presentations
• Preferred: knowledge/training in protective relaying, symmetrical components, transmission line theory, power system transients, dynamic stability, and power system electromagnetics
• Hands-on experience with relevant software packages and a multidisciplinary technical background
