Job Description

Role Overview: As an Analyst in Risk Management at Mastercard, you will provide support to the risk managers and senior management to manage the Customer Risk Management function globally. This includes monitoring volumes 24/7, partnering with various teams, and preparing commercial underwriting documentation. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the appropriate monitoring of customer risk in accordance with Mastercard's policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Daily read of Factiva/CreditEdge customer related news and regulatory websites to scan for customers' financial distress - Monitor 24/7 global customer exposures and inform risk managers in case of urgencies based on volume trends and news/regulatory websites - Follow up with customers and account managers on open settlement positions for small settlement failures - Participate in decision-making processes and emergency procedures as directed by Risk Managers - Assemble Commercial Underwriting for senior risk analysts, including data points such as volume/exposure trends and settlement analysis - Conduct CEM System testing and ad hoc reporting on customer volume, exposure, and CEM declines trends - Report and coordinate with appropriate teams in case of CEM inaccuracies or process failures - Maintain Customer Exposure Monitoring Manual and participate in process improvement initiatives - Access/check balances on customer bank accounts subject to security agreements Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate degree in business, economics, econometrics, or equivalent with 2 years of experience in credit risk assessment and financial statements analysis; OR - Graduate with at least 3 years of experience in credit risk assessment and financial statements analysis - Accuracy, self-drive, accountability, and sense of urgency - Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills - Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills - Experience in/knowledge of the banking sector is a strong plus - Experience with BI tools such as Business Object is a plus - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good sense of humor (Additional Company Details: Omit in this Job Description) Role Overview: As an Analyst in Risk Management at Mastercard, you will provide support to the risk managers and senior management to manage the Customer Risk Management function globally.
