Analyst - Financial research

As a Financial Analyst at our organization, you will be responsible for providing transaction-related research support by conducting in-depth analysis of specific industries and sectors as part of the transaction evaluation process. This involves synthesizing information from consultant research, identifying similar transactions, and processing large sets of data related to potential borrowers. You will also be involved in executing valuation and financial analysis as well as conducting industry research to support decision-making processes. In addition to transaction-related research, you will also be involved in non-transaction related research support activities. This includes breaking down specific industries or segments to identify potential opportunities for our organization, leading research for new business development initiatives, and identifying potential hires, firms, and companies for collaboration or investment. Furthermore, you will play a key role in lead generation and knowledge management by utilizing various sources to create leads, maintaining leads through the pipeline using our CRM system, and updating internal metrics and templates related to past deals within specific verticals. The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate significant initiative, creativity, and the ability to work autonomously. You should be comfortable with data accumulation, interpretation, and presentation, as well as synthesizing research findings into concise reports and summaries. Additionally, candidates with work or educational experience in financial analysis are preferred. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and proficiency in using tools such as Word, Excel, and Presentation software. A background in the financial industry and an MBA or PGDM in Finance are required qualifications for this position.
