Analyst

As an Intern at EY-Parthenon - Corporate Finance, your role will involve a deep dive study of financial statements and related schedules. You will prepare financial statements based on information provided, analyze financial and operational results of target companies, and summarize your findings. Additionally, you will identify and communicate key deal issues affecting purchase price or deal structure, execute diligence engagements, and work closely with engagement Managers/Senior Managers/Partners. It is essential to ensure that final deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Basic valuation techniques and related studies will also be a part of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deep dive study of financial statements and related schedules - Preparation of financial statements and analysis of target companies - Summarize findings of the study - Identify and convey key deal issues - Execute diligence engagements - Ensure project components are delivered with quality and timeliness - Understanding of basic valuation techniques **Skills and attributes for success:** - Working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word - Ability to prepare graphs and analyze/present information - Attention to detail - Strong analytical capabilities - Timely communication and adherence to set timelines - Excellent written and oral communication skills **Qualification Required:** To qualify for this role, you must be pursuing Chartered Accountancy (with one group cleared) or Post Graduate in Management/MBA with specialization in Finance from a reputed college/university.
