Analyst, Demand Planning

As a Demand Planning Analyst at Saks Global, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Merchandising Planning and Buying teams of Saks OFF 5TH (SOF) in North America. Your primary responsibility will be to create accurate reports for the assigned business area and work towards achieving department in-stock goals through effective forecasting and inventory management. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in analyzing sales history, trends, and other factors affecting in-stocks and profitability. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining proper store inventory levels and developing allocation strategies to maximize sales potential. Key Responsibilities: - Create accurate reports for the assigned business area. - Collaborate with Planners and Buyers to manage Replenishment inventory through accurate forecasting. - Maintain in-stock goals by analyzing sales history and trends. - End to end ownership of categories and business metrics. - Execute strategies to drive supply chain initiatives for alternative forms of fulfillment. - Ensure timely and proactive communication with key stakeholders. Qualifications: - Graduation/Post-graduation with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. - Preference for work experience in the retail industry with knowledge in supply chain. Required Skills: - Analytical mindset with advanced excel skills and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in data management and interpretation using statistical concepts. - Strong planning and operational skills. - Effective communication skills. - Proficiency in excel and other MS Office tools. - Ability to work well in a team and contribute positively to the work environment. - Highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work. - Knowledge of SQL and VBA Macros will be an added advantage.
