Analyst - Business Audit

As an Analyst at the Risk Testing Group (RTG) at Goldman Sachs, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of quantitative and financial experts responsible for independent oversight of all financial and non-financial risks. Your main responsibilities will include: - Identifying potential material errors or omissions related to data accuracy, conformance with regulatory instructions, and ongoing effectiveness of key controls - Developing an understanding of the firm's risk management framework, models, methodology, techniques, and processes - Conducting independent reviews of key regulatory and internal initiatives and communicating results through formal reports - Performing validation of the firm's qualitative models by verifying conceptual soundness, methodology, and implementation - Developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, and presenting results to senior management committees and regulators Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a master's in a quantitative discipline preferred - Qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs) can also be considered - CFA, FRM, or equivalent professional certifications preferred In terms of competencies, you should possess: - Functional Expertise in qualitative and quantitative risk management (credit, market, liquidity, or operational risk) - Technical Skills with strong programming skills and experience with an object-oriented programming language (C++ or Python) - Drive and Motivation to handle multiple tasks, improve performance, work towards challenging goals, and persist in the face of obstacles - Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members and encourage contributions - Communication Skills to convey relevant information clearly and concisely - Judgement and Problem-Solving abilities to think ahead, anticipate questions, and find alternative solutions - Creativity/Innovation to improve processes and develop practical solutions - Influencing Outcomes by presenting sound rationale for ideas and opinions Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm committed to fostering diversity and inclusion.
