AM/DM - IT Infrastructure Admin(IT MES)

Summary

Monitoring and Managing Plant technology operations and ensure tech support in day-to-day activities covering EOL, MES, Barcode Scanners, Hardware, software, etc.,

Ensure high availability of technologies like - LAN, WAN, FIREWALL, Wired & Wireless, etc.,

L2 Support for Server room & computer host systems including hardware, software and equipment such as AC, UPS, Fire Protection, etc

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day IT operations, including but not limited to monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repairs
• End to end ownership for managing Plant  technology operations, address support challenges and be the point of contact for any escalations, manage customer relation on IT / Network Infrastructure.
• Understanding /Good Knowledge of  Plant Technologies  like EOL , MES , Barcode Scanning, Machine Protocols used in shop floor operations
• Expertise in managing IT help desk environment, Incident / change / Patch management / security hardening to support IT / Network systems and end users.
• Strong networking concepts, support and ensure high availability LAN, WAN, Firewall, DHCP, AD, LAPS, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Wired and Wireless technologies.
• L2 Support for Server room and computer host systems including hardware, software, and equipment such as air-conditioning system, uninterrupted power system (UPS), and fire protection system.
• Should have vendor, supplier, OEM and service provider management experience.
• Minimum 8+ years in managing technology operations for a mid / large size organization.
• Ensuring that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained.
• Troubleshooting as required, which further leads to problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel within the organization.
• Professional with experience and a deep understanding of managing a customer focused, client facing 24/7 operations function.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate (Any) however, B. Tech/B. E. is preferred
• 10+ Years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure, automobile industry background will be an added advantage.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Strong Communications Skills (both written & verbal).
• Ability to learn quickly and implement new technologies in a rapid, demanding, and changing environment.
