AM/DM - Crash & Safety CAE

As a Crash CAE Simulation & Evaluation specialist, your role will involve preparing full vehicle models using software such as HYPERMESH, ANSA, or PRIMER. You will be responsible for conducting full vehicle simulations using LS-DYNA software, optimizing models, and ensuring robustness using tools like Diffcrash, Mode Frontier, and LS-OPT. Your duties will also include interpreting results using software like LS-Pre Post, Hyperview, or Hyper Graph, as well as preparing detailed reports. You will be expected to correlate simulation results with physical tests and suggest improvements to the CAE methodology. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare full vehicle models using HYPERMESH, ANSA, or PRIMER - Conduct full vehicle simulations using LS-DYNA software - Optimize models and ensure robustness using tools like Diffcrash, Mode Frontier, and LS-OPT - Interpret results using LS-Pre Post, Hyperview, or Hyper Graph and prepare reports - Correlate simulation results with physical tests and suggest improvements to the CAE methodology Qualifications Required: - Experience in setting up vehicle/BIW models for crash CAE using HYPERMESH - Experience in analyzing and developing countermeasures for evaluations based on regulations/NCAP of domestic/export destinations - Good understanding of sheet metal and plastic part design - Knowledge of AIS Safety Regulations and NCAP protocols - Experience in building models, conducting system-level/full vehicle simulations, and working in automotive crash/occupant safety simulations - Ability to debug models in LS-DYNA environment, interpret results, and post-process the deck - Experience in collaborating with CAE engineers, making design modifications based on CAE inputs, and proposing countermeasures to meet performance targets - Exposure to physical test procedures and ability to understand physical test results preferred Educational Qualification: - BE/B.
