1. Bookkeeping: Record and maintain all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Bank reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that the company's financial records are accurate and consistent with bank statements.
3. Monthly and yearly closing: Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements, including the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement.
4. Inventory valuation: Oversee the valuation of inventory and ensure proper accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Fixed asset management.
5. Manage the company's fixed asset register, which includes tracking depreciation and new purchases.
6. Statutory compliance: Ensure timely and accurate booking of all tax-related entries, including GST and TDS.
7. External audit support: Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to external auditors during the annual audit. 8. Financial controls: Work on developing and improving internal accounting procedures to strengthen financial controls and prevent discrepancies.
1. Advanced software skills: Proficiency in advanced features of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
2. Communication: Translating complex financial information into clear reports for senior management and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.
3. Analytical and problem-solving skills: Identifying financial risks and proposing solutions to improve efficiency and profitability. Ethical integrity.
4. Ensuring financial transactions are conducted with confidentiality and according to ethical standards.
