Ambulance Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Ambulance Driver to join our healthcare and emergency response team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transport of patients, maintain the ambulance in good condition, and assist medical staff when required. The role requires discipline, alertness, and a compassionate approach in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive the ambulance to and from hospitals, clinics, and emergency sites.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Assist medical personnel in loading/unloading patients and handling stretchers when needed.
• Keep the ambulance clean, fueled, and stocked with essential medical supplies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Follow all traffic rules and company protocols to ensure patient and crew safety.
• Maintain basic transport records (trip logs, fuel usage, etc.).

Requirements

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (as per local/state requirements).
• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience (ambulance or similar vehicle preferred).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with patient handling.
• Willing to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in ambulance or emergency services is a plus.
• Basic First Aid or BLS training (optional but preferred).
• Familiarity with local routes, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.

Salary

Up to ₹18,000 per month, depending on experience and skillset.
