AM / Executive - Procurement - Thermal Power Project

Responsibilities:

Tendering :

• Review of Approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) / requirement received from user
• Identification of potential bidders who meet the requirements (using Company vendor database, Supply market analysis, advertisement or recommendations from other teams).
• Preparation of the Request for Proposal (RFP) document for Tendering.
• Ensure timely Vendor Technical bid evaluation by respective user dept and Commercial bid evaluation of Bidders.
• Preparation of Estimates and conducting negotiations
• Preparation of Approval Note for selected bidder (vendor)

Order Placement and Contract Preparation:

• Preparation of Purchase Orders
• Maintain the records of Purchase Orders, Contract documents for future reference
• Collate the Advance Bank Guarantee / Contract Performance Bank Guarantee (ABG/CPBG) from vendor as per requirements.

Post Order Management:

• Billing Break Up Approvals and get it uploaded in SAP, if applicable.
• Prepare Change Order/ Amendments in the order including quantity / Rate variation, Extra items, Time Extensions etc.
• Facilitate closure of Contracts and take necessary actions.

Vendor Identification and Onboarding:

• Coordinate with new identified vendors to send information / documents in predefined forms for evaluation.
• Interact and take approval of User department for vendor assessment if required.
• If the vendor is qualified based on the vendor evaluation criteria, update approved vendor list & communicate to vendor.

Supplier/ Vendor Engagement:

• Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers / vendors from a long-term perspective.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) in Purchase, Contracts & Commercials in Thermal / large scale EPC Projects

• Experience: 3 to 7 Yrs

Skills Required:

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and contract management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
