Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research using various analytical tools to generate actionable consumer insights. Stay up-to-date with customer trends, and actively predict future market shifts. Perform competitor and customer insights analysis to identify market opportunities and threats. Analyze the success of marketing campaigns and generate comprehensive reports to inform future strategies. Research consumer markets, monitor market trends, and identify potential investment areas based on consumer needs and spending habits. Identify research needs, execute research studies and projects, and analyze findings to pinpoint growth opportunities. Utilize category and consumer insights to drive innovation in product development and marketing initiatives. Brand Strategy and Communication: Develop and execute brand strategies, including setting style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision, and value propositions for both short and long-term goals. Set the brand planning calendar, coordinate cross-functional activities and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables. Contribute to the annual brand planning process, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Plan, implement, and execute successful consumer and trade marketing programs, encompassing brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, and advertising. Plan and execute all communications and media actions across all channels, including online and social media. Assist with product development, pricing, and new product launches, while also exploring new business opportunities. Create and manage promotional collateral to establish and maintain strong product branding. Supervise advertising, product design, and other marketing efforts to ensure consistency in branding. Define and manage the brand communication strategy utilizing a variety of media. Branding and Customer Outreach: Act as the brand champion and expert, ensuring brand integrity across all touchpoints. Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative; create, execute, and manage impactful marketing programs and campaigns. Lead the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, fan conventions, and other marketing vehicles. Provide reporting to allow proper measurement of marketing activities and offer strategic recommendations based on analysis of ongoing trade and consumer promotion programs. Represent the company and provide support as needed at various trade shows and conventions. Plan and execute events and promotions within fan communities. Coordinate launch programs for both external customers and employees. Organize events such as product launches, exhibitions, and photo shoots. Oversee the production of TV advertisements, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows, and liaise effectively with art designers, copywriters, media buyers, and printers. Collaboration and Budgetary Controls: Collaborate effectively with sales teams for specific selling strategies. Meet with clients and work closely with colleagues across multiple departments (e.g., marketing assistants, marketing managers, chief marketing officers, sales team, interiors). Liaise with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring all designs and messages meet company brand and regulatory guidelines. Analyze product pricing and assess potential profitability. Establish and maintain brand budgets, managing budgets effectively. Positions of Leadership (applicable for Manager and above): Demonstrate proven expertise in team handling roles, consistently monitoring and mentoring subordinates. Provide effective assistance and guidance to marketing teams, optimizing strategies to increase customer leads. Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA from a NIRF-ranked institute is preferred. 5-15 years of progressive experience in brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management. Proven working experience as a Brand Manager, Associate Brand Manager, or Senior Brand Manager. Ability to prioritize effectively when under pressure. Proven ability to develop compelling brand and marketing strategies and clearly communicate recommendations to executives. Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns that resonate. Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix. Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind. Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices; a continuous learner who stays current on market trends and competitive activity.
