AIX Linux Migration
? Strong background in AIX administration (LPARs, PowerVM, storage configs, user management, security, shell scripting).
? Linux expertise (preferably RHEL/SUSE/Ubuntu for enterprise workloads).
? Knowledge of binary compatibility issues ? AIX binaries wont run on Linux, so familiarity with recompilation & portability.
? Understanding of Tuxedo middleware migration & rehosting on Linux.
? Experience with system performance benchmarking (CPU, memory, I/O differences).
? Knowledge of Linux equivalents for AIX features (e.g., file systems, clustering, backup utilities).
CVS Azure DevOps (ADO) Migration
? Hands-on with legacy VCS tools (CVS/Subversion).
? Expertise in Git-based systems and migration tooling (cvs2git, git-tfs, or commercial migration tools).
? Familiarity with Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards.
? Ability to design branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development).
? Experience in CI/CD pipeline design for legacy C/C++ and newer cloud-native applications.
? Knowledge of work item migration (if client used CVS with issue trackers or QA system).
Cloud & Infra Modernization
? Experience with Azure migration assessments (IaaS vs PaaS vs containerization).
? Infra sizing, cost estimation, and optimization for Azure Linux workloads.
? Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones and governance best practices.
? Infra-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
? Security (identity, access management, audit, monitoring).
