Aix Administrator

TCS is Hiring AIX Admin for Gurgaon, Noida, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Kochi & Pune Location for the Experience range of 6 to 15 years.

1. To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
2. To provide support for on call escalations and doing incident and problem management.
3. To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
4. To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases.
5. Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviews or participation in hiring drives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Adhering to SLAs -ITIL Processes awareness and adhering.
• Mentoring / Training Team Members Handling tickets / requests.

. Install and configure AIX/Linux operating systems and servers.

. Support AIX/Linux OS to run various software applications.

. Maintain and upgrade the AIX/Linux OS.

. Perform root cause analysis , Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.

. Troubleshooting technical issues

. Develop procedures for AIX/Linux security and management.

. Update standard policies according to environment changes and audit result

. Support AIX/Linux OS to run various software applications

. Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware.

. Plan and execute AIX/Linux projects within approved timelines.

. Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects.

. Maintain documentation of AIX/Linux hardware and software components and user and operator procedures.

. Detect and troubleshoot system operational and functional issues.

. Perform performance maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability.

. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

. Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support -

. Perform H/W & performance tuning and maintenance

. Day-to-Day reporting analysis tasks

.
