General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. has a need to hire Field Service Representatives to supplement the existing GA-ASI workforce. India Ministry of Defense has an enduring ISR requirement for airborne platforms capable of operating seven days per week, with the ability to perform planned and emergent operations, performing up to 5,500 flight hours per year. To address this requirement, the Buyer is operating 2X Contractor Owned/Contractor Operated pre-production MQ-9B Remotely Piloted Aircraft System to support specific mission sets at a remote location in the India Area of Responsibility. The operation of the RPAS is from IN base INS Rajali, Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides Non-electric unmanned aircraft system maintenance. Responsible for airframe, landing gear, engine, and sub-components on the aircraft. Duties Include: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Inspect powerplant and related components at regular intervals adhering to company approved procedures, maintenance manuals, and/or government technical order requirements. Repair fuel and/or oil leaks and/or engine problems as required. May remove and replace airframe and/or engine components as needed. Review records to ensure all required documentation is completed in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order May perform all launch and recovery tasks of aircraft to include ground operations, preflight items, ground observer responsibilities, and post flight items. May inspect, test, maintain and operate ground support equipment. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Typically requires a Senior School Certificate, Pre-University Certificate or Pre-Degree Certificate or equivalent and five or more years of aircraft mechanical maintenance experience. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with EASA part 66 certificate or equivalent international certification will be required. Must possess: (1) detailed understanding of basic aircraft maintenance procedures and principles. (2) knowledge of Microsoft office computer applications and operations. (3) basic leadership, organization and planning skills; and (4) ability to effectively communicate with employees and both military and civilian customers.
