AI ML Tester

Role Overview: As a Tester AI Application Development at Emerson, your main responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of AI-driven applications. You will achieve this by testing, verifying, and validating the software through automated and manual testing methods. Collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and other team members will be crucial to enhance the performance and usability of AI applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement detailed test plans and test cases for AI-based applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security meet standards. - Conduct rigorous tests on various AI-based applications such as generative models, AI Assistant/AI agent platforms, and machine learning algorithms to evaluate effectiveness, accuracy, and usability. - Identify, document, and report defects, bugs, and AI behavior anomalies. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues related to AI's response consistency, context understanding, and output relevance. - Develop and implement automated test scripts for AI models to ensure scalability and efficiency in testing. - Prepare test data in collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, and development teams for training, validation, and testing of AI models. - Perform functional testing, regression testing, load testing, and performance testing for AI-powered applications to ensure no regression issues or performance drops after model retraining or new version releases. - Assist in training and fine-tuning AI models based on user feedback and test results, ensuring ethical AI standards are met. - Analyze and validate machine learning models and AI outputs critically, identify biases, edge cases, and ensure application accuracy and precision meet performance metrics. - Contribute to enhancing QA processes and testing frameworks used for AI development. - Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test cases, and testing results for accountability and repeatability. - Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues with AI application features and functionality.
