AI / Machine Learning Intern

Role & responsibilities

Youll help teach machines how to learn from humansthrough data, patterns, and behavior. Youll work with Python, explore how models make decisions, and help train AI to better understand intent. If you're curious about how people and machines interact, and how intelligence can feel intuitive, this role is for you.

**You'll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with Ostensibles core team architects of ambient clarity, systems empathy, and human-led design. This isn't a siloed role; it's a front-row seat to paradigm-shifting work. Youll contribute directly to the foundational layers of our OS and AI stack, shaping how machines interpret human nuance. Qualifications (for this role)

• Exposure to **Python** and libraries like NumPy, pandas, or scikit-learn
• Familiarity with **machine learning concepts** (classification, clustering, intent modeling)
• Experience with **data annotation** or training workflows (even via coursework or hobby projects)
• Interest in **human-computer interaction (HCI)** or cognitive science is a plus

General Foundations (for all intern roles)

- Basic proficiency in **HTML, CSS, and JavaScript** (or equivalent front-end stack)

- Familiarity with **version control systems** like Git/GitHub

- Comfort using **low-code/no-code platforms** (e.g., Bubble, Web flow, Framer) or willingness to learn

- Experience with **API integration** and basic RESTful concepts

- Understanding of **responsive design** and accessibility principles
