Partner with the best Ensure optimal performance and availability of Akamai's critical security products. Analyze end-to-end system performance. Develop tools for monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation processes. Utilize technologies like Azure, Kubernetes, Linode, and Databricks. Create scalable security solutions addressing evolving AI-powered needs. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with teams to design, build, and maintain infrastructure while automating processes for efficiency. As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for: Deploying and maintaining the platform and tools used internally Developing automation pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment workflows Collaborating with our support, operations and engineering teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex problems Improving our system monitoring and analysis platform to speed error detection and remediation, enhancing performance and reliability Working with Dev and Quality Assurance teams to create more robust solutions, code improvement and stability Participating in on-call rotations, guiding restoration and repair of service-impacting issues Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will: Have 1+ years of experience and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field Have professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or SysAdmin role, working with large scale distributed systems Demonstrate expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., Linode, Azure) and automation tools like Jenkins, Terraform.
