AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer at OSTTRA India, you will be part of the Technology team focusing on Capital Markets Technology. You will play a crucial role in building, supporting, and securing applications that are essential for the smooth operation of the network. The technology landscape includes high-performance, high-volume applications and compute-intensive applications, making use of modern microservices and cloud-based architectures. Your work will have a significant impact as you contribute to the development and management of platforms processing over 100 million messages daily. These services are fundamental to automated trade processing worldwide, ensuring efficient trade settlement and the effective functioning of global capital markets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on both traditional machine learning and cutting-edge generative AI. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and training machine learning models for various tasks such as risk assessment, fraud detection, and trade prediction. Additionally, you will explore and implement generative AI techniques for applications like data augmentation and natural language processing in financial contexts. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with experienced AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to integrate AI models into existing systems and develop new AI-powered applications. Your involvement in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, will be crucial in adhering to best practices and industry standards. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Strong technical skills in AI/ML concepts, Python, relevant AI/ML libraries, generative AI models, and software engineering principles are essential.
