Job overview As part of the Business Operations & Technology (BOT) team, the Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of automation and AI-based solutions, including those powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python, gen AI, and business process automation, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation across the organization. Key responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify automation opportunities Develop and deploy custom GPTs and other generative AI tools, including agents, to support internal productivity use cases Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and optimize prompt engineering strategies for specific business applications Design and implement automation workflows for tasks such as Excel reporting, PowerPoint creation, etc. Everest Group complies with the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other data protection regulations. Integrate internal tools with third-party platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, Zoho, ADP, OneDrive) using APIs or automation frameworks Maintain and monitor deployed solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and user adoption Stay current with advancements in AI and automation technologies to continuously improve Everest Groups internal tech landscape Skills & activities Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and the OpenAI ecosystem including API connections Experience with VBA for Excel automation and macros Working knowledge of REST APIs and how to integrate with other systems like Salesforce, SharePoint, Zoho, ADP, and OneDrive Familiarity with SQL and cloud-based platforms is a plus Experience with developing AI agents is a plus Experience with Jira and custom GPTs is a plus Ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse teams Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to both technical detail and business impact Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal Education & experience Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields Minimum 3 years of experience in software or automation development, with at least 12 years focused on AI/LLM-based implementations
