AGM/DGM- New Product Development (Investment Casting)

Please note candidates with NPD Experience in Investment casting, Sand casting or Powder Metallurgy will only be considered

General background:

The purpose of this role will be to focus on new product development, Metallurgical controls over all operations, and solving metallurgical issues/complaints. Development of new metallurgical processes testing suppliers, installation of new testing facilities for both the plants. This role will work closely with Quality department and Manufacturing department.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for completing the feasibility study of RFQ received from sales team and designing the process flow to meet the technical requirements of the customer.
• Leads the CFT which is responsible for designing and implementing the process flow to produce the samples of confirmed new orders received from sales team.
• Ensure all documents are prepared as per the requirements of Quality Management System and records of sample development maintained.
• Coordinate with customer on any deviation or clarification on technical requirement during the sample development and submission process.
• Will be responsible to deliver the samples First Time Right within the agrees timeline.
• Ensures the agreed metrices of Quality/ Productivity are attained and stabilised before handing over the program to production function.
• Keeping the management periodically updated on the progress of each program
• Train and develop the team members.
