AGM / DGM - Procurement & Subcontracts - MEP

You will be responsible for overseeing procurement and subcontracts activities in the MEP domain for our client in Mumbai. Your main duties will include vendor sourcing, pre-qualification, and evaluation processes. You should have a working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems and possess techno-commercial expertise in various packages/items related to MEP projects. Your role will involve heading techno-commercial negotiations, preparing MIS reports, and managing procurement activities across India. Additionally, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements with suppliers, employers, consulting agencies, and subcontractors. Strong drafting skills are essential for this aspect of the role. You will also be involved in structuring contracts, managing their administration, ensuring compliance, and handling post-award contract management tasks such as rate analysis and settlement of claims. Familiarity with the Arbitration Act and experience in the full life cycle of arbitrations will be advantageous. Knowledge of different contract conditions and work order terms and conditions will also be beneficial. Ideally, you should hold a degree in Engineering, with preference given to those with NICMAR certification or an MBA. A minimum of 20 years of experience in procurement and subcontracts, with at least 15 years specifically in this field, is required for this full-time position.,
