REQUIRED SKILLS

Core Technical Skills

• Agile Frameworks:

  Deep practical experience with various Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, or LeSS.

• Facilitation & Coaching:

  Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives), conduct workshops, and provide one-on-one coaching to individuals and teams at all levels.

• Metrics & Reporting:

  Experience defining and tracking key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, lead time, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement and provide transparency.

• Tooling:

  Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, T) and collaboration platforms.

• Organizational Change Management:

  Understanding of change management principles and strategies to support Agile adoption across an organization.

• Technical Acumen (Foundational):

  General understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, TDD, BDD), and product management concepts to effectively coach technical teams.

• Python:

  Advanced proficiency for backend development, API creation, scripting, automation, and general application development.

• SQL:

  Strong understanding and experience with complex querying, database design, and performance optimization for relational and NoSQL databases.

• GCP Cloud Services:

  Deep hands-on experience with core Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and VPC.

• System Design:

  Experience in designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architectures, including microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.

• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):

  Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and best practices for writing clean, efficient, and testable code.

• DevOps:

  Proficiency with Git version control, CI/CD principles, automated testing, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and monitoring/logging tools.

SENIORITY

• Experience:

  5+ years working in an Agile environment, with at least 2-3 years specifically in an Agile Coach or Scrum Master role across multiple teams.

• Track Record:

  Proven history of successfully guiding teams through Agile adoption, improving their maturity, and driving measurable outcomes.

• Cross-functional:

  Experience working with diverse stakeholders including product, engineering, and business units to align on Agile goals and strategies.

• Technical Depth:

  Ability to understand and articulate complex technical challenges, and to coach teams on implementing sustainable engineering practices within an Agile context.

• Experience:

  2-5 years in software engineering, application development, or related technical roles.

• Track Record:

  Proven history of designing, developing, and deploying scalable software applications to production environments.

• Cross-functional:

  Active participation in defining technical requirements, evaluating solutions, and contributing to project objectives.
