Job Description

Aerospace Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform
primary and secondary structure design
,
payloads design
, and
system support design
for aerospace projects.
Utilize
CATIA V5
workbenches including
Part Design
,
Sheet Metal Design
,
Generative Shape Design (GSD)
, and
3D Functional Tolerancing & Annotation (FTA)
.
Develop
relational and parametric models
as per design requirements.
Apply
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
principles and ensure design accuracy in both
2D
and
Model-Based Definition (MBD)
environments.
Create
manufacturing drawings (detail, assembly, and installation)
in compliance with
ASME standards
.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and quality.

Required Skill Set

Education:
B.E / B.Tech in
Aerospace
or
Mechanical Engineering
Tools:
CATIA V5 (Part Design, Sheet Metal, GSD, FTA)
Domain Knowledge:
Aerospace Design
Process Knowledge:
Aero Structures and Systems Design
Strong understanding of
GD&T
and
ASME Standards
Experience with
relational and parametric modeling
