Aerospace Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Experience : 5 + years

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop aerospace valves (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, or bleed air systems) using SolidWorks.

• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies with accurate GD&T and tolerance analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance.

• Perform design validation through simulations, prototyping, and testing support.

• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as AS9100, DO-160, and MIL-STD.

• Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision control using PLM systems.

• Participate in design reviews, FMEA, and root cause analysis for design improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace component design, preferably valves or fluid systems.

• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, including part modelling, assemblies,and drawings.

• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
