Job Description

At least 12 + years of experience as IBM Mainframe specialist (zSeries) with focus on network technologies, Configure, debug and maintain TCPIP and VTAM subsystems configurations, Knowledge of all products using SNA & IP (DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF, Netview, Connect:Direct, JES2), Configure and implement AT-TLS rules, Configure and implement IPSEC policies, Secure Encrypted data transfers (NDM, SFTP and FTP/TLS), Tcpip trace analysis IP, Socket, OSA adapter, SNA, EE, Very good understanding of network related technologies (routing, protocols, IPv4, IPv6, etc) Installation, upgrade and maintenance of VTAM, TCPIP, OSA and related products on the mainframe. Strong Networking knowledge. Knowledge of SMP/E To support 12X5 Oncall support. Skills in Printers configuration, FTP, SMTP, SNMP configurations. Interface with operations, Network management software (includes NetView and NPM) File transfer software (includes TCP/IP FTP, Netview FTP and Connect: Direct) Session Management software (includes CA-TPX, CA-Solve Access and Candle Super Session) Printing software (includes InfoPrint server and LRS VPS) NCP and NPSI/X25 Very good written and verbal English skills, Ability to work as a part of the team. Methodical approach to work. Excellent analytical skills. Stress resistant and problem-solving capabilities in case of emergency situations, Ability to deal with multi-task issues.
