Advisor, Systems Engineering (DevOps Engineer)

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Fiserv, you play a crucial role in enhancing software delivery processes, improving system reliability, and fostering a collaborative DevOps culture. You will contribute to building better systems and products on distributed on-prem infrastructure, automating workflows, ensuring system reliability, and enhancing efficiency throughout the CI/CD/CT processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement DevOps practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. - Architect and optimize cloud applications for scalability, including Pipeline, Network, caching, compute optimizations, and load balancing setups. - Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. - Hands-on experience in Rest API, APIGEE APIM, Microservices, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, GKE, Gitlab/GitHub, Harness/Argo CD Pipeline. - Set up tools and required infrastructure. - Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation. - Review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project. - Encourage and build automated processes. - Deploy cybersecurity measures through continuous vulnerability assessment and risk management. - Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools. - Strive for continuous improvement by building CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in DevOps on distributed on-prem and cloud environment. - Cloud Experience including automation using IoC, and Apigee or Any gateway experience. - 5+ years of IT development, consulting, or service implementation experience. - 5+ years of experience on Linux-based infrastructure. - Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and scripting languages like Python, Groovy, Perl, JavaScript, and Java. - Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, chef, puppet, Cobertura, Maven Plugins, Sonar, Jasmine, ServiceNow, and Confluence. - In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible. - Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery using public clouds like Azure, GCP, and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. - Working knowledge of automation testing tools like Postman, LoadRunner/Selenium, Ready API. - Configuration and management of databases such as Mongo. - Excellent troubleshooting skills.
